Fill in the Create Buying Agreement form yourself — the classification, the supplier, carrier and validity dates, the origin and destination under Locations, the commercial and administrative fields, and the spot details for a single sailing. No field on this tab sets a price; the rates go on the other tab, Activity Details.
Fill in the Instant Quote search form by hand for an Ocean FCL shipment — pick the service tab, attach the search to a customer, set the origin and destination addresses, choose the container type, quantity and ready date — then press Get Prices, and know where to look when the search comes back without the rates you expected.
Read the Instant Quote results list with confidence — wait for the search to finish, use the Agreement Category, Supplier, Currency and Sort by controls above the list, read each option's transit time, charges, validity and total, spot a partial-pricing option whose total leaves charges out, and pick the option to share with your customer.
Open the Possible Sailings window on an Instant Quote option and read what each sailing card tells you — vessel and voyage where the card names them, departure, arrival, cutoff and transit time — so you can compare the departures behind that one option.
Open Share Quote from the Instant Quote option you picked, read the header, carrier card, route summary and cargo summary, add the customer, and see which buttons sit on the screen before you send anything.
Open the Route Builder on a quotation, read the route nodes and the map legend, fill in the addresses the route is still missing, and save the route or leave the window.
Open Cargo Details from Edit Goods on a quotation, check the kg / cm - lb / in unit pill, fill the unit type, weight and number of units on each row, add more rows, record conditions under Options, choose the commodity, and press Apply Changes to Quote.
Paste a packing list, a booking email or a spreadsheet into AI Fill on a quotation's Cargo Details screen so the cargo lines are read out for you instead of typed in by hand — what to have ready, how to open the AI Fill Goods box, what the example in it shows about writing your own text, and what to check on the lines that come back before you apply them to the quote.
Put the customer's name on a quotation in Customer Information, then read Price Breakdown & Margin — the Freight, Origin and Destination charge lines behind Total Selling Price, and the Buying Total, Selling Total, Margin Value and Margin % on the green Margin Preview card — so you know what the quotation earns you before you download a printout or send it.
Open Edit Pricing on a quotation to read and change the price you are sending — Total Buying, Total Selling and Total Margin in the header, the Selling and Buying tabs that decide which value boxes you can type in, the margin printed beside every price line and every activity, the % box and Apply Markup on the selling side, the SUPPLIER field on the buying side, and Save Pricing in the bottom bar.
Check that a quotation is carrying more than one option from the Multiple Options chip in the Share Quote header, switch between the option tabs in Price Breakdown & Margin, read each option's charges, total selling price and margin on its own, and know what to check before you send a multi-option quotation.
Fill in the Sales Proposal Details block far down a quotation — Ready to Load Date and Proposal Expiration Date carry a red asterisk, and Business Unit, Execution User, Sales Owner, Sales Agent and Service Trade sit below them — then use Send Email to Customer, choose between the Designed Branded Email and the Regular Email Composer, and read the branded preview with its carrier options and attached PDF before you press Send Email.
Send us the screen you are on and what you expected to happen, and a person will pick it up.
