The CFS (Container Freight Station) section of the Supplier Portal gives you full control over the consolidation and de-consolidation of goods at the warehouse. From here, you can monitor stock levels, record movements, upload documents, and update container details.
To get started, navigate to the CFS menu in your top navigation bar.
Understanding Your Display Views
The CFS module offers two distinct ways to view your data, depending on the task at hand:
- List View (Consolidation New / De-Consolidation New): A compact, tabular grid displaying all goods across all shipping orders. Best for getting a broad overview, filtering large datasets, and performing batch edits.
- Card View (Consolidation / De-Consolidation): A detailed, per-shipping-order layout. Best for day-to-day operations, direct data entry, and managing individual shipments.
1. Using the List View
To access this view, go to CFS → Consolidation New (or De-Consolidation New).
Searching & Filtering
Use the top toolbar to narrow down your records. You can filter by:
- Search Bar: Free text search across all records.
- Direction: Inbound or Outbound.
- Physical Address: Specific warehouse locations.
- Expected Arrival: Date ranges for incoming goods.
- In Stock: Toggle to show only goods currently physically in the warehouse.
Pro Tip: Click the Column Picker (grid icon next to the search bar) to customize your view. Drag and drop columns between "Visible" and "Hidden" to show only the data you need.
Understanding Handling Requirements (S·T·R)
Under the S·T·R column, you will see three checkboxes indicating the safe handling properties of the freight:
- S (Stackable): Other goods can be safely placed on top.
- T (Tiltable): The goods can be tilted during handling.
- R (Rotatable): The goods can be rotated.
Editing Container & Seal Numbers in Bulk
Click the Pencil (Edit) icon on any Shipping Order (SO) header row to open the Edit Stocks Goods dialog.
- Update the Container Number and Seal Number.
- Click + ADD OUTBOUND ALL to automatically generate an outbound movement for all goods under that specific Shipping Order at once.
- Click SAVE CHANGES.
2. Using the Card View
To access this view, go to CFS → Consolidation (or De-Consolidation).
Use the SELECT dropdown at the top to filter by a specific shipment. You can toggle between three main tabs at the top right:
- INBOUND: Goods currently arriving at the CFS.
- OUTBOUND: Goods departing from the CFS.
- HISTORY: Completed movements.
Reading a Shipping Order Card
Each card represents a single shipment and allows for direct data entry.
- Header Section: Displays the SO Number, Master CS, and editable fields for the Seal and ID Number. Click SAVE after making changes.
- Goods Table: Breaks down the cargo into three phases: Original (declared), Incoming (arriving), and Stock (currently in warehouse).
Quick Action: If you are in the OUTBOUND tab, clicking the pencil icon on an SO card triggers a prompt asking: "Create movements automatically?". Selecting YES will instantly generate outbound stock movement records for all goods on that card, saving you manual entry time.
3. Recording Stock Movements
To log an arrival or departure, click the Movements icon (double arrows) on any goods item.
- Inbound: Click + ADD INBOUND to record arriving goods. Select the supplier, input the document dates, and record the Actual Quantity, Weight, and Volume compared to the declared amounts.
- Outbound: Click + ADD OUTBOUND to record departing goods using the same fields.
- Save / Delete: Click SAVE to lock in your records, or use the X icon to delete a row.
4. Managing Stock Files and Communication
Clicking the Files icon (cloud upload) opens the Stock Files panel, your hub for documents and emails.
- Printouts: Select a template from the dropdown and click + ADD NEW PRINTOUT to generate, view, or download standardized PDFs.
- Mails: Communicate directly from the goods record. Click + NEW MAIL to start a thread, or view the MAILS LOG to see the full history.
- Uploaded Files: View, download, or delete attached documents. You can also use the SPLIT function to break a multi-page PDF into separate pages, or click BROWSE to upload new files directly from your computer.
